About Us
My love for baking began in my 30s at Mrs. Fields, where the smell of warm cookies and the smiles of customers showed me how simple sweets create joy and connection. At Pretzel Time I learned patience and the craft of dough, and later, managing Domino’s, Papa John’s, and Wetzel’s taught me about food, teamwork, and serving people well.
Through life’s ups and downs, the dream of my own warm, welcoming bakery never left. That dream became SAS Bakery and Café, where every pastry and loaf carries a piece of that journey. Baking is my healing and creative outlet, and today I share it with my wife, Alina, and our kids as we serve our community with love
